How to max out battery life

This is'nt a tech blog, I know, but if a computer doesn't work, you can't type up a science paper right?(And I
like rto fiddle with tech)
Turn off the
screen(fn+F6 on my PC)
wifi(Fn+F2 on my PC)
GPS(if you have it)
spare windows/apps
to save batteryThese three things kill phones, Computes, etc.

multiple android os's

I know this isn't a tech blog, but this is cool. first get zeam on mediafire.com with default android browser. After it brings up the downloads screen tap the .apk file you just got. It will open a new os. Go to the market and get Home++ beta(there isn't a stable). You can get more of these, but I like these. now when u want to change, press the home key. It should bring up a screen with"home", "home++", and "Zeam"DO NOT SET A DEFAULT!!! select the one you want to use. (delete like any other app by the way and non-market apps has to be checked in settings to get zeam or any ap of the web) these all run android apps by the way and they should help speed p your phone too, zeam does this better though at the cost of features. oh, and get skyfire off mediafire too for free hulu on the go and other video sites besides youtube(be sure to check desktop for free hulu tho!)
EDIT: these are more of a hybrid of skin/os/widget/app than a full os. The device still runs android if you get home switcher in the market you can set a default without losing the ability to use the others. You can also delete the default home, but there is no way to retreive it if you want to switch back. The "free hulu" part is in error due to the fact that hulu demands a higher version of flash player. THis may be fixed in the future, or there already may be a way around this, I have not looked yet.
